Moving your website to Marquezee
Setup covers reviewing your current website, preparing the new version, launching it on your domain, and showing you how to make updates.
We review your current site.
We look at your pages, content, domain, and email setup to understand what the move requires.
We start from the address of your current website and ask you only for what the site doesn't say. If you don't have a website yet, a few answers in your own words and some photos give us the same starting point. If your email is hosted by your current web host, we move the email first so it keeps working.
You review the new version.
We prepare your website and send you a preview. You can review the content and design and request changes before launch.
You can keep a look close to your current site or ask for a refresh. Nothing goes live until you approve the preview.
We help you get started.
We connect your Claude account and walk you through making an update, reviewing it, publishing it, and restoring a previous version.
This happens in a thirty minute session. Afterwards you have a one page card with the steps.
Launching on your domain
We switch your domain to the new website with you. Your old site stays up alongside the new one for two weeks, and we redirect your old page addresses to the matching new pages. Your email stays where it is during the switch.
Your Getting started page shows each step as it's completed: telling us about your site, the build, your preview approval, connecting Claude, your first update, and the launch on your domain.
After launch
- Every update comes back as a preview, and nothing is published until you approve it.
- Each change is checked before it can be published, and earlier versions are kept so you can restore one.
- Design changes, new pages, and domain or email changes go to our team.
- You decide who can make changes, and each person has a role. You receive an email when someone else publishes.
- Your website is built to the accessibility standard used for the ADA (WCAG 2.2, level AA) and checked again when it changes.
What you need
A paid Claude account in your name, and a phone or computer. We connect your Claude account to Marquezee with your Marquezee sign in during setup.
